12-14 March 2016

Despite forecasts of 25kt NE winds and 2m swells, Jervis Bay was essentially millpond during the mornings, with a fairly gentle NE wind in the afternoon. Camping conditions were superb, with mild temperatures, no mozzies and only one short rain shower during Sunday lunchtime.
Water conditions were benign; no currents, minimal swell, although cool (17C) and a little murky at the bottom (7-12m viz). Dives were made to the usual haunts - The Docks, Bowen Is, Point Perp, The Labyrinth and 10-Fathom Dropoff. Bowen Is turned up the usual Weedy Seadragons, and a bonus sighting of two Grey Nurse Sharks!
