Trip report

The 2015 Australia Day Eden trip had 17 divers and 21 people in total. The weather was variable, with some chop on Saturday and about 4-7m vis. Both boats headed for a late morning double-dive to the Tasman Hauler and the pier, with the Goat staying out in the afternoon for a second double run. Conditions were similar on Sunday, with southerlies increasing in the afternoon, so we had only one run of both boats to the Henry Bolte, but the winds dropped off in the evening, a campfire was built, and marshmallows were toasted with an Australia Day concert playing in the background. By Monday the seas had flattened and we finished with a double dive to Jacko's cave with some on Goat also diving the pier. We tallied 50 dives for the weekend, with Michelle and Anabel reaching the milestone of 100 dives (congratulations!).
