Second announcement - 24 May 2004

Hi Everyone,

In just over three months, ANUSC members will be setting up camp on Lady Musgrave Island and preparing themselves for two weeks of diving on the Great Barrier Reef.

If you'd rather be dealing with the end of a long cold winter here in the ACT then don't worry about the rest of this email.

The trip has a total capacity of 25 people, including non members and non divers. At the moment we are taking deposits from members only, however next Monday (31st May) we will accept deposits from anyone! A non anusc member will be required to pay an additional $50 on top of the trip cost.

So members, this week is your last chance to secure your spot in the sun and sand of Lady Musgrave Island before the rest of the world is invited to join in...

First announcement - 14 April 2004

Hi ANUSC Members,

The organisation of our annual Lady Musgrave Island trip is underway.

Arrival/Departure dates have now been confirmed.

We board "Prime Mover" in Gladstone at midnight Friday 3rd September and arrive on Lady Musgrave on Saturday 4th 9am (ish).
"Prime Mover" will return to Lady Musgrave to pick us up Friday midday 17th September.

Everyone is expected to be in Gladstone for predeparture logistics by noon Friday 3rd.

An estimate of total trip cost per person is $850 (please be aware that this is only an estimate and that the cost may change either way). This total trip cost includes transfer to and from LMI, diving, food and camping permits. It doesn't include the cost of getting to and from Gladstone, private food stashes or alcohol...

For organisational reasons and to secure your place on the trip, deposits are required ASAP.
Please note that deposits are refundable only if the trip fills completely.

The club will use a "first in best dressed" deposit system if more than 25 people are interested in the trip.
