| Jen (aka 'one lung') learnt to dive in the tropical waters of Thailand in
December 1999 (a climbing trip gone wrong? Jen prefers to think that it
was fate ;) ... but it was a brutal thing, to have to come back to south
coast water temperatures. Since Jen joined the club, she has obtained her
boat licence, become an LMI old fart and has "served time" as Vice
Pres/Gear officer, President and Environmental Officer (her favourite
committee position). Jen enjoys marine research and conducts Reef Life
Surveys (RLS) and CoastKeepers surveys when dive conditions permit- if you
want to know more about this research or how to get involved just ask her
:) She has also learned to accept the digs from club members on dry suit
diving ;) and enjoys a dip anywhere on the south coast. Jen has also dived
in WA, Tassie, Spain, the Solomons, Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island (for
RLS research), North Sulawesi, Micronesia and PNG. If you show her a
nudibranch she hasnt seen before ... she will buy you a beer at the next
club social drinks session (conditions apply ;). |
